Sunday we crossed over into the 38 week mark. He’s growing just fine (51st percentile on last check, which for a heart baby is amazing). Each stress test (Tues. & Fri) comes out perfectly with Tracy hitting a contraction here or there, however her baby bump is hard as a brick tonight.
On her birthday I had planned for her to get a prenatal massage from Massage Envy in Castle Rock, CO. They scheduled me in and we arrived on time to be told “If you have a high risk condition you have to have permission from your doctor”. Simple enough, but how about telling a customer that while on the phone, the day before. It was bad business to begin with not asking or notifying a client of the policy by phone, but they were also snooty. I’ll never use or recommend Massage Envy to anyone. We did get a doctors note however and I scheduled her for a “Motherhood Massage” from Aspen Falls Day Spa ($85/60min) which she fully deserved and loved.
I think at this point we are both ready for him to come but patience is a virtue and we know everything has it’s own time to happen.

YEAH for 38 weeks!!! I am so happy for all of you.
I am really surprised the massage place didn’t tell you on the phone about their policy…what a pain. My husband did the same thing for me when I was pregnant and the massage was AWESOME! I need one now too…think I will go and hint at it for a little while.
