We spoke with Dr. Cambell and Dr. Kauffman @ CHoD. Aiden will undergo open heart surgery on Monday or Tuesday of next week. Not that I want my son to have OHS, I am THANKFUL that God has blessed my family with this chance.
Dr. Cambell has said that making Aiden’s one pumping chamber support his whole body/lungs and fixing his Pulmonary Arteries is easy. There is a valve inside Aiden which is leaking, and they are unsure as to the level they can repair this. If they can do it well enough Aiden can continue to make milestones and the plan would be to continue repairing Aiden as he reaches these milestones.
It’s just all on God guiding Dr. Cambell. We face a very real possibility of losing Aiden in surgery or directly after, however I am thankful that God has given us the miracle of chance.

Matthew 17:19-20 "For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."We founded a Facebook group called "Praying for Children with Health Problems" - if you have a Facebook account and would like to receive notifications and praise reports on children with heath problems in need of prayer please visit us below:
I’m so glad that Dr. Cambell is going to perform the surgery. My thoughts and prayers will continue for your family and for Dr. Cambell.
My prayers and thoughts will be with you and your family every minute! God Bless you. I am glad you realize that your faith in God will get you through anything that you encounter in life. Stay strong for Aiden! He’s already received one miracle and that was finding a doctor to do the surgery.
God Bless,
Sabrina
