If this teaches us anything it is most definitely to enjoy every moment we have because nothing is guaranteed. With faith mountains can be moved. I pray my purpose is to show everyone the power of God and how NOTHING is impossible for him.
Today and yesterday have been great as our little miracle has been opening his eyes and LOVES being held by mommy while being kissed by daddy. Medically they did an upper GI test which showed no digestion issues, no malrotation, perfect bowls, a lung test and xray showed his lungs in excellent condition and he’s been doing PERFECT off the Nasal CPAP. Other than his complex heart it seems as if medically speaking, he’s perfect — because no matter what, all of him is perfect.
Aiden had over 10,000 people look at his site yesterday… for being 7 days old he’s affected more people than some do their entire lives. I’m so proud of my little bugger. We need everyone to keep praying on Boston. And even if it doesnt work, we ARE NOT giving up, not by a longshot. One step at a time.

I wanted to let you know we are praying for your family. We also consulted with Boston, but since we live in the midwest, our daughter had her surgery at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

Your son, Aiden is absolutely adorable and perfect! I guess I should start by saying a late congrats on your marriage…it’s been an awfully long time since I’ve seen you…and congrats on your new baby boy! I didn’t even know you were expecting but as I was reading on facebook tonight the updates and I’m just so sorry to hear about Aiden’s little heart. I am praying for him and both of you! God is Awesome…and can work miracles. I pray that you will be able to take Aiden home soon and he will have a healthly happy life! I know you both will enjoy every moment spent with him.

Congrats on such a beautiful and ever perfect baby boy. You are so very right, he is perfect. I must say he looks MARVALOUS! Just a nasal canula…he is proving to be strong, isnt he!! Dont worry about the ng tube, Will needed one too until he was 6 months and had the Glenn and then on and off until we went to Boston and had the bivent/canal repair. It may not look so cute, but is sure makes giving medicine easy!
As you have already noticed, this great big CHD family welcomes you with wide open arms, we are praying for Aiden and believing in a miracle, because we see God do miracles everyday with our little ones. It may not seem like a blessing now, but it is.
My prayers for today is that God give Aiden’s medical team the wisdom to help him stay strong and stable, that He give Dr del Nido and Dr Marx the wisdom to know how to help Aiden and that you hear from them today, and soon, very soon Aiden is on his way to Boston…
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Know that everyone is praying for you and for Aiden to make a full recovery. He’s absolutely beautiful…an angel sent down from heaven. Best of luck to you all!!!!
