My normally uncanny ability to thrust into words the raw feeling and emotions surrounding me isn’t on it’s game today. My son is dying at 5 days old and all I keep hearing in my head is that stupid option… Take him home to die… No.
We have 2 possible options that still have to materialize. I’ve already put into motion Denver’s Heart Transplant Team for them to review Aiden today for addition to the list. He needs prayers to be a viable candidate.
The other options which I made myself comes from a post I read from Kim Knipp… I called Dr. Pedro del Nido office at Children’s Hospital Boston who agreed to review Aiden’s medical diagnosis, tests, written papers — everything. They said if there is ANY other viable option we’ll be notified and we’re off to Boston.
If anyone out there has a direct-connect with our heavenly father, now would be the time to call in a favor… I love you Aiden Matthew and I’m not going to give up… No way.

Matthew 17:19-20 "For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."We founded a Facebook group called "Praying for Children with Health Problems" - if you have a Facebook account and would like to receive notifications and praise reports on children with heath problems in need of prayer please visit us below:
Levi ~ Boston is the best…and CHoP is next in line…give them a call too if Boston doesn’t think they can do anything. Praying that Boston comes through for Aiden. I am with you…we’re not giving up on Aiden over here in Michigan. Drew and I are praying like crazy for his fellow CHD warrior! Give Aiden a smooch for me if you can, tell him we’re all fighting with him.
Dr Del Nido is truly the best. I sure hope he says he can do something for Little Aiden. He was Andre’s surgeon when all others didn’t know how to operate on him for his rare condition. If Boston is the destination, then you have us here, we live about 15 miles north, can give you a hand with anything, there are also a few support groups there too who come visit families in hospitals. Praying for good news!!
Hi guys
The swinks are praying hard.Thank you for the updates at this diffulcult time in your lives.
I am praying that one of the options comes through for you. I am really praying that Boston is the answer and they can fix Aiden up, rather than having to go through a transplant…that just sounds really scary to me. God is listening and will answer our prayers for Aiden. Praying like crazy for your whole family…and an extra million for Aiden.
On a side note…if you need anything, let us know. You have a lot of support out here and we are willing to help in any way we can!
Paula’s sister – Also praying – will send to several area churches for their prayers too. Praying that one of the options works – I remember (since it was so recently) when Paula came home with the same assessment! Glad you’re not giving up! Praying for strength for your whole family during this time!
I called in a favor. So lets see some miracles today!
If you don’t get anywhere with Boston, here are a few other top notch guys in the USA–Dr. Ed Bove, Michigan; Dr. Frank Hanley, Stanford; Dr. Thomas Spray, CHOP. Good luck. Sending prayers,
We are still praying out here in CA. You, Tracy and Baby Aiden are in our thoughts. Here’s a little Quote…
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10
I’ve sent Dr. del Nido another email today. It is 6 months today since he operated on Eve and saved her life. He’s a good man. And the best. I know you will get an honest assessment – and a gameplan for getting Aiden on the best path. Prayers! Annnamarie
I am sending my prayers to little Aiden and family. with all my heart I know that god will take over and heal him for all of you. God bless the family
love, Doree Seely
